Hola familia! Hahaha I love hearing about your weeks! Yikes! Sounds like a lot of sickies! I know pneumonia sucks! Awe, and for you too, JJ! Haha that's awesome about grandparents day, Ez. This week our zone leaders gave us a reference named Iv_ that was in a part of our area that we'd never been before called Loma Bonita. We trudged up and down muddy hills for an hour until finally we found the house! We ask for Iv_, but it turns out it wasn't his home, but his parents. His father greeted us not super happily when we told him who we were and that we'd like to come back and visit him. Hola Familia! Hey hey, we have a house! Al fin!!! Here in Tapachula :) If you guys would have told me you were looking for a home where your heart is I would have let you know there's a nice one roomer down the road! Hola Familia! Long time, no see! So good to hear from you guys yesterday! Hope Dad gets up to Washington safe! And that Jarrad hasn't eaten everything ;) And a super happy Mother's Day to you, Mom!!! SO glad you could relax! This week was miraculous! We truly saw a ton of miracles! Number one being that we got Skype to work and I got to see all of your beautiful faces <3 I told you guys a little about them yesterday, but I don't have any better stories for this week so I'm going to tell you about them again :) Home away from home - the jungle! So we're teaching a sister named Ma_ and her sister in law An_, and we haven't made major leaps and bounds with them, but they've told us they have desires, and little by little we've been progressing with them. But this week we met the brother of Ma_, Ca_, and his not-wife (but in Spanish they always say wife even though they're not married) and they're really open to learn about the gospel. ...

Hola familia! Awe, glad to know I  can help a little up there from down here! Love the analogy you made to missionary work and light, because it's so true! That's what it's all about! Well, this week was the exact opposite of last week. Instead of being crazy busy, it was incredibly slow and long! Hermana Gomez got sick. She was in the hospital last transfer for salmonella, and the doctor thinks that as a recurring illness it just came back. So Hermana Gomez was out of commission for three days, and as a result, Hermana Larsen as well. We were able to go on splits one day with a young woman from our ward named Ma_ Jo_ and her mom, so I could get out and see a few of our investigators. So that was super good! And I got some great study time in ;) Right now we're teaching a family who makes a living off of chicken fights. Hola Familia! Haha, hola to all over the USA! Glad to hear there was no flan consumed! To answer your question, no, I'm never dry. If It's not rain water, it's sweat ;) This week has been crazy busy! I'll start out with one highlight. We had a district meeting this week in which the zone leaders announced to us that President George wants us to memorize the Living Christ before the end of this transfer over the next three weeks. The Living Christ (one page) somehow translated in Hermana Gomez's head as Jesus the Christ (an 800 page book) and her reaction of disbelief was priceless! Hahahaha! "Hermana, I haven't even finished reading Jesus the Christ!" JJ, I finally have a Spanish fail again for you. But it's not mine this week. We went to teach a couple of little boys that will be baptized in a couple of weeks, An_ and Jo_, and we were going over the ten commandments.
