Super happily surprised!

Long time, no see! So good to hear from you guys yesterday! Hope Dad gets up to Washington safe! And that Jarrad hasn't eaten everything ;) And a super happy Mother's Day to you, Mom!!! SO glad you could relax!
This week was miraculous! We truly saw a ton of miracles! Number one being that we got Skype to work and I got to see all of your beautiful faces <3 I told you guys a little about them yesterday, but I don't have any better stories for this week so I'm going to tell you about them again :)
So we're teaching a sister named Ma_ and her sister in law An_, and we haven't made major leaps and bounds with them, but they've told us they have desires, and little by little we've been progressing with them. But this week we met the brother of Ma_, Ca_, and his not-wife (but in Spanish they always say wife even though they're not married) and they're really open to learn about the gospel. We took them along with Ma_'s daughter and mom to a ward Mother's Day activity, and they absolutely loved it! They recognized that there's a difference between members and our uplifting activities than they've seen in other churches, and so they've become really excited about the church, and it was really incredible to see what great effect a simple activity can have. As people living the gospel there truly is something different about us, and people can see it, they really are watching and it has an impact what we do.
I think I also told you guys a little bit about Lu_. Lu_ is a 22 year old girl who's studying right now in college. She's been taught by the missionaries before, and we've visited her two or three times. This week we came to teach about the plan of salvation, but when we had just started by verifying if she had read her pamphlet, and then if she had prayed about it, she surprised us by telling us that she knows that it's all true. She's been studying the Book of Mormon, not just read a page or two, and knows that it's from God. She's prayed and knows that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has the fullness of the gospel and wants to be baptized. We were super happily surprised! What a powerful witness! And that is the same witness that we can and will all receive if we are willing to act, if we are willing to read and to pray to know the truth. We're super happy and excited for her and her progress! Now she just has to change her class schedule so she can go to church :)
We also went on intercambios (exchanges) with the sisters from Central. Hermana Behymer came to our area with me and was super excited about all the green so we took lots of pictures :) Hermana Behymer is from my generation (started mission at the same time). I don't know if you guys remember, but we lived together in the CCM and met each other in the airport in Utah. So it was super fun to be reunited and get to work together for a day!
Oh and Spanish fail for you, JJ. We had a district meeting this week, and one of our zone leaders was telling us that an elder was going to lead us in the recitations (D&C 4, missionary purpose, mexico area vision and promise, missionary commission, etc.- we have a million things we recite in every missionary meeting :) but instead of saying the Spanish word for recite- arecitar, he said resurrect- resucitar. "And now Elder Urutìa is going to lead us in resurrecting" Hahahaha! False alarm, we did not resurrect in the district meeting </3
