A little girl came running to stop us

Hola familia!

It's been another week of miracles! This week we had exchanges with the sisters from Ocosingo and Huitepec. While on exchanges Hermana Behymer and Valencia contacted a woman in the street that didn't have a cell phone or want to give them her address because the owner isn't very friendly, but agreed to meet with us in the church the next day. When Hermana Behymer told me we had the appointment in the church, I didn't say it, but I honestly didn't expect her to show up and we had no way to contact her if she didn't. But we went to the appointment the next day, and there she was, on time! I honestly was super surprised! We gave her a tour of the church building and invited her to church on Sunday. She came, but didn't end up getting there until the services were ending, haha, but we can definitely see her desire because she is making the effort to meet with us!

We had another really cool miracle this week. We were walking to an appointment on Tuesday, all casual, but then a little girl comes running in front of us to stop us. She told us that her grandma was trying to talk to us. We turned around to see a little old lady walking towards us, apparently we walk really fast and they had been trying to catch up with us for a while haha. But the lady tells us that she's a member, that she was baptized when she lived in Guatemala, but since coming here she lost contact with the church, but would like us to visit her. Her name is Yo_ and her granddaughter Bl_. We visited them a couple of days later and know that they really needed the gospel in their lives again, also Bl_ isn't baptized but wants to be!

We had a crazy full house this week, the sisters from Ocosingo and from Chenalho had to stay in our house for a couple of days and it was really fun having six girls in our tiny house with only three mattresses haha. The new member of the seventy Elder Montejo also came to San Cristobal and spoke to us and shared with us some really great thoughts on the humility and our ability to progress and change.

Sounds like a wonderful week in the north! hahahaha Jar, that's too funny! Excited to hear about the appointments with your progressing investigator! Cam, yikes, is it still snowing up there? Wow, Mo, how do you balance your social life??? Ez, sounds scary the fire drill! Hope all goes well in the derby! JJ, haha I'm glad you enjoyed the fire! Dad, glad to know things are going better at work this week! Mom, I hope your tummy keeps getting better! Can you eat hamburgers yet?
Les amo! Read the Book of Mormon!
