Looking for change in his life

Hola familia!

Today's been super crazy because we had to come to Tuxtla again for another Leadership Conference and we're in the mission home right now. And we're about to eat HAMBURGERS!!!!!! YEEESSS!!! So I don't have a lot of time to write, but short update from my week: we've been experiencing a ton of opposition in the baptism of Da_. Her grandma fell down the stairs right before her baptism. So please pray that she can be baptized this week!!

We've been sad that a lot of our investigators are leaving for vacations or moving, but we had a super awesome miracle yesterday! well, more like earlier this week. We contacted a man named Ed_, who I honestly didn't expect to be very interested, but we started talking with him and it turns out he's been looking for change in his life. He drinks a lot and he's been trying for a long time to stop, but hasn't  been able to. We had a couple of really special lessons with him this week, and he came to church, without us passing by  to pick him up and he brought his girlfriend! And two young kids people (I don't know what they call young people in English) that we've been teaching named Se_ and Na_ also came! So we're super excited about that and super excited for this week!

Hola Familia! Wow, it's surreal to be only in contact through email! Way to go, Ezra and JJ! You guys are awesome basketball players! We must be related because I totally crushed two districts in Knock-Out! I mean, there were some secret combinations involved to get me to the top, and then the elders totally let me win, but it still counts, right? And no, JJ, we don't sleep on hammocks, but sometimes I wish we did! The mattresses are rock hard, which is a blessing in disguise because it makes it really easy to get out of bed in the morning! I was worried my clothes would get dusty without use, so thank you for saving me from that awful fate, Moana. I'm right with you, Jarrad! Way to go Cami! Un Otro Fantastic Semana

Hola familia! Wow, I can't believe it's time to write again. This week went by so fast! Every day does here because I'm just so busy. I'm kind of at that awkward stage where I can't speak Spanish, but I can't speak English either. I called water wagua this morning. Yes, we have a devotional/fireside every Sunday and Tuesday, though Sunday is usually just watching one from the past. It was kind of cool last Tuesday because the talk was in Spanish and they had an English translator speak after each sentence. I get to go to the temple today! We´re supposed to go two or three times during the MTC experience on P-days. It's in the city, but since the traffic is so insane it will probably take an hour and a half to get there. Sadly, that's the only time we get to leave the CCM. I really would like to go out especially now to see the Dia de los Muertos celebration! We hear it loud and clear aaaaallllll day and night!
