Talking to everyone

Hola Familia! Wow, Happy Thanksgiving!!!!! I can't believe it already happened! It doesn't feel like November and even less Thanksgiving because it's not cold haha, but we celebrated our Turkey day a little bit in our last district meeting with brownies :) which is a super special treat for us gringos because down here no one has ovens and therefore no one uses ovens and therefore no one makes brownies, except my district leader in the church oven :) Ez, my two companions names are Hermana Tlachi and Hermana Varela :).  That's awesome - no school!! JJ, yikes! don't get any ideas from the guy who took a kayak over the falls!!! Mo, yeah, I was looking at the pictures and I was thinking, wow, why is everyone married or engaged? Thanksgiving was not like that two years ago when I was there! Maybe I was the bad luck charm and the reason that no one could get married. Jarrad, Rudy's gotta go. Cam, don't make wedding plans until I get home! Mom and Dad, sounds ...

I am so grateful for you guys!

Hola Familia!! Haha you guys almost got me there!! I can't do much for the 3 marriage plans right now, but if you guys get working up there for me I think we can arrange something ;) JJ, haha sounds like a fun campout! Hahaha I think Ezra's questions are my favorite! Ez, I have almost seen more cats and dogs than people. Yay, Cami! *insert many tears* I want to go dress shopping!!!!!!!! Mom and Dad, sounds like some fun thanksgiving plans! haha I will praying that all goes well in the kitchen!! Jar, I'll get working on those rent payments, the problem is i don't have a job right now.. :`( The busy hermana is still super busy! This week has been super crazy! But super awesome! First off, Elder Pieper of the Seventy came to our mission all this week! That's where both the crazy and awesome parts come from haha. Wednesday we had a multizone conference with him that was super awesome! And then on Friday and Saturday we went to Tapachula. That's right, Tapachul...

Hola Familia!!! It's been another great week here in Terrazas! And also insanely busy. For starters, we're moms again!!! This week an almost brand new missionary was dropped off on our porch (almost literally), Hermana Bravo!!!!! Who we're training right now in trio, and she's from Peru, too cool!! It's actually really funny because there are a lot of words that are different in Peru and in Mexico, so I don't feel so alone in my Spanish fails ;) and on top of that, this week they took the sister training leaders out of the Tuxtla Mexico Zone and made us the sister training leaders of both the Tuxtla Mexico and Tuxtla Mactumatza zones. Which means double the meetings in everything! And did I mention that we're training on top of that? So basically this transfer is going to be insane. But it's going to be awesome! :) We saw lots of miracles this week! One of the first ones being with an eternal investigator name Ad_. Ad_'s husband is a [church] mem...

I almost feel like I'm in my training again!

Hola Familia!! Haha wow!!! Snow!!! I honestly can't even imagine what that feels like! I say as I'm sweating in a super hot cyber... haha wow! To answer your question, they know what snow is [here in Chiapas], but only from movies. No one has seen snow in person ever. Haha maybe that's an exaggeration, some people travel... And good news, I feel good! No, no one that has been giving me shots has been professionally trained in any way :) #mexico. Wow, JJ your week sounds awesome! Your Sundays sound like mine! Ez, why on earth do you get to miss 20 minutes of math????? Mo, #proartist, and don't die please! Cam, tell Patch I said feliz cumpleaños and give him socks for me too! Haha keep kickin butt, Jarrad! Dad, have fun in Salt Lake! Mom, no pressure but I'm going to be the judge of how well you teach the song in Spanish. ;) Haha and yes, we went to a YSA (Young Single Adult) conference to promote our English class that we're going to start this week with a f...

Hola Familia! Ez, I'm definitely jealous about the cookies! You're saving me some, right? JJ, yikes about your thumb! Glad to hear Boise was fun :) Mo, always good to ask who the advice is for first hahahah! Hmm, Jarrad, I know a few sister missionaries that are going home soon, but they don't speak English... but that can be fixed! Dang, Cam! You've become quite well traveled! Haha yikes, Dad! Thank goodness for your awesome driving skills! Haha, Mom, what's your calling again? So it's been a crazy week! Hermana Bastián came this week on special transfers because she like destroyed her foot (but it's better now :)) and we spent a lot of time in their ward Mactumatza helping the sisters out with one of their investigators that was baptized. And a lot of time running around like crazy in our own area because Ar_ got baptized! Finally!!! Basically everything went wrong on Saturday, but in the end it was all okay because he was baptized :) I think with ever...

Hola Familia! Feliz cumpleaños a ti!!!!!!!!!! happy happy birthday to the newest 17 year old in the world!!!!! Well, probably not anymore, but happy birthday :) Ezra, I've probably seen more dogs than people this week. JJ, yay basketball!!!!! does it start this week? Mo, way to go missionary and be a strong independent woman!!!! And let me know when the feast is going to be ;) Love you, grandma and grandpa! Glad to hear you guys are doing well! Mom and Dad, looks like you guys pulled off quite the celebration! Yay Cami! I think I will soon be joining you in the glasses club, so if you want you can buy me some while you're at it :) Jar, I want very specific details about your date! And who's the general authority that went to your stake conference?? Wow, this week I completed one year in the mission. I feel like I should says something really profound. *insert something profound here please* And funny that you guys mention burning things to celebrate.... nothing was inte...

Hola familia!! Haha sounds like a good week, Ez! haha no, Mo, I don't remember the peacoat Christmas situation... JJ, way to go!!!!!!!!!! I knew you had some serious tackling in you from all the times you tackled me ;) Jar, [he called] me too. Says you're a dirtbag. Hahahahaha! Haha Cam, what did they do to your hair? I'm impressed, Dad [with the cookies]!! Mom, I want you to have all your fingers when I come back please! Hmm true story, in two days I'll have un año on the mission!!! That's super crazy! I definitely don't feel like I've been here a year..... But I can definitely say I have changed so much!! yeah, the first few months were very difficult for me, but I'm so grateful for that because it's thanks to the difficult experiences that I've been able to grow and change and learn. If I could go back and do it again there's a lot of things I would have done differently to prepare for the mission. Number one is probably study more the...
